Amsterdam

The capital city of the Netherlands is tied to a wide variety of - often contradicted - preconceptions: from canals, bicycles, and a rich art & architecture history to coffeeshops, the red light district and drugs.

Growing up and living in this city has taught me which preconceptions are true to my experience. With these projects I portray Amsterdam’s contemporary zeitgeist and wish to break any misleading preconceptions about the city.
